Russia and China Launch Joint Naval Exercises in the Sea of Japan
Russia and China commenced naval exercises in the Sea of Japan on Saturday, as reported by Russian news agencies citing the Pacific Fleet.
A joint group of warships from the Pacific Fleet and the Chinese Navy departed from Vladivostok to participate in the “Beibu/Interaction – 2024” naval exercise. According to the Pacific Fleet, the drills will feature anti-aircraft and anti-submarine operations.

Earlier this month, Russia and China conducted missile and artillery firing as part of the Ocean-2024 naval drills, which Russian President Vladimir Putin described as a strategy to counter US influence in the Pacific.
