Anglo-Eastern Upgrades Hadley Shipping Group Fleet with Inmarsat’s NexusWave
Anglo-Eastern, a leader in technical ship management, has selected Inmarsat’s NexusWave to modernize connectivity for the Hadley Shipping Group’s fleet. NexusWave is a fully managed, bonded connectivity solution that integrates multiple high-speed networks, including Global Xpress (GX) Ka-band, low-Earth orbit (LEO), coastal LTE, and L-band. This ensures seamless global coverage, even in challenging maritime environments, providing reliable and high-performance communication for vessels at sea.
The upgrade is designed to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen cybersecurity measures, and support crew welfare by delivering consistent internet access. By addressing both current operational demands and future scalability, NexusWave enables Hadley Shipping Group to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving maritime industry. The solution’s “secure by design” infrastructure protects sensitive data, which is critical for maintaining safe and efficient operations.

This initiative aligns with Anglo-Eastern’s multi-orbit connectivity strategy, launched in 2023, which focuses on advancing digital transformation and cyber-resilience across its managed fleet. NexusWave supports these goals by offering a robust platform that integrates advanced network bonding technology, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity through intelligent orchestration of multiple networks in real time.
Inmarsat’s collaboration with Anglo-Eastern builds on its recent efforts to innovate maritime communications, including a 2025 agreement with Mitsui OSK Lines to transition their fleet from Fleet Xpress to NexusWave. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to creating smarter, safer, and more connected maritime operations, setting a new standard for the industry.
