IMarEST M2M Mentoring Programme: Advance Your Marine Career

IMarEST has introduced the Member-to-Member (M2M) Mentoring programme, exclusively for its members. This initiative aims to foster personal and professional growth by connecting members with experienced marine professionals for one-on-one mentoring. Participants can set goals, address challenges, and enhance skills while building long-term professional relationships and gaining diverse industry perspectives.

Nicole Luque, IMarEST’s Learning and Development Manager, emphasized the programme’s role in addressing the marine industry’s workforce shortage by supporting professionals to thrive and remain in the sector. The M2M Mentoring programme is open to all membership levels, including free student memberships, as well as discounted early career associate and seafarer memberships.

Members can access the mentoring platform by signing into the IMarEST website, creating a profile that highlights their expertise, skills, and interests. The platform then suggests suitable mentor-mentee matches and provides resources to guide the mentoring process from start to finish.
