The Tianjin International Trade and Maritime Transportation Center has established a “Port Cooperation Center,” which features specialized halls for port services by country. This initiative aims to deepen cooperation between Tianjin and the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), facilitate cross-border trade, develop investment and industrial partnerships, and implement innovations in maritime transportation.
In particular, the hall for port services of the Russian Federation is planned to open in June. Representatives of the Center and relevant authorities expressed interest in involving the Chinese representation of the Register in the design and concept development of the hall, as well as in the implementation of joint projects in the future.
“First of all, we would like to thank the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the CPC, the city government, and all departments for their attention and support of our company! The Tianjin branch of the Russian Maritime Register, being the only foreign classification society headquartered in China specifically in Tianjin, serves as a bridge for cooperation between the port and logistics industry, trade, and other sectors of Tianjin and Russia. We are eager to contribute to the development of economic, trade, and cultural interaction between the two countries,” noted Pyotr Vanyukov.
