Fire Breaks Out on Container Ship Victoria L: Swift Response from Netherlands Coast Guard
A fire broke out in the engine room of the container ship Victoria L, located approximately 30 nautical miles west of Scheveningen, Netherlands, leading to a swift response from Dutch authorities.

After the captain of the vessel requested assistance, the Netherlands Coast Guard activated its Maritime Incident Response Group (MIRG-NL). A specialized firefighting team was flown to the ship via Coast Guard helicopter, while a second helicopter remained on standby at a nearby oil platform.
Several resources responded to the emergency, including Coast Guard aircraft, Multraship Protector, Arca, and KNRM lifeboats.
As of the latest update, the firefighting team is assessing the situation aboard the Victoria L. The incident is still ongoing, and authorities are continuing to monitor the situation.
The Victoria L is a container ship owned by Germany and sailing under the Liberian flag. At the time of the incident, the vessel was en route from Hamburg to Rotterdam.
